This course deep dive into foundation in prayer principles, a deeper connection with God through the Holy Spirit, and the tools to cultivate a prevailing prayer life that not only enriches a believer’s spiritual journey but also empowers us to make a positive impact in our world. Students will learn how to approach God, complying with the basic conditions for answered prayer, and how to know God’s will and pray it back to Him. Students will also learn about many kinds of prayer, such as petition and command, and understand the place of spiritual warfare. It is the desire of God that every believer be transformed by the renewing of their minds. This course is designed to equip the learner with the fundamentals of Christian growth. It explores the process of spiritual formation as a
life-long transforming and learning experience that emerges from daily communion with Christ and forms the basis of Christian ministry. Students will learn how the fundamentals of growing deeper in their relationship with God could transform their lives and ministries into a matured Christ-like image. Emphasis is placed on personal reflections and application of course learnings to the believer's life and ministry/counseling practices.
